About Us

Passion 4 Cakes started in early 2008. It all started with my children and I working in the kitchen baking a cake for my mother in-law’s birthday. In the past, I had worked with cold porcelain clay and I had created many party favors (non-edible). I made a vanilla cake and I used fondant to cover it. They all said I had skills and that I should pursue cake decorating. It was then that I decided to take some cake classes. I attended Cake decorating class through Wilton just so I can learn some of the basic decorating skills. The instructor (Jolene) told me that I learned to run before I walk..  It was at this moment I realized this was my calling.

My husband had attended culinary school at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and loved to bake. So I took advantage of his skills with baking cakes. We agreed to work together. He would bake while I decorated the cakes. 

We feel, “We bake and decorate all our cakes with Passion” and that is how Passion 4 Cake was formed.
